BCHBC Scholarships, Bursaries & Education Awards 2010

BCHBC is pleased to announce that there are a number of remarkable students that have applied to variety of awards this year, the numbers are outstanding! Once the Scholarships and Awards committee finalizes the selection of deserving recipients, the awards will be presented on stage at the BCHBC Scholarships & Awards Gala! Students must be present at the event in order to receive an award (no exceptions)!

BCHBC would like to reward high school students that participated or served as volunteers at the BC High School Bhangra Competition 2010 event with a variety of rewards!

BCHBC is offering a number of scholarships and education awards to high school students in all grade levels. Awards are divided up according to grade levels; students in Grades 12 will receive scholarships, bursaries and other awards that will be help fund post secondary education at an accredited college, university or other post-secondary institution after graduation. Students in grades 8, 9, 10 and 11 will receive BCHB Education Vouchers & other awards. The BCHBC Education Award vouchers are redeemable once a student graduates and is planning to further their education. Students have an excellent opportunity to accumulate Education Award Vouchers over the course of their secondary school years. The awards provided by BCHBC, and a cross-section of educational institutions, community leaders, businesses, and organizations gives BC students an opportunity to receive scholarships, education and other awards to further their education. Students will be rewarded on a variety of criteria such as receiving good grades in classes, demonstrating exemplary character, making positive contributions to their school and community, financial hardships and for being involved in Bhangra.
